Present paper elicits the multicomponent reaction (MCR) strategy assisted by titania nanoparticles hosted on silica (TiO2.SiO2 NPs) as heterogeneous catalyst to synthesize a series of pharmacologically significant 2,3-diaryl-3,4-dihydroimidazo[4,5-b]indole derivatives. To the best of our information, the use of isatin as one of the precursors was hitherto unreported. The decrease in reaction time, low catalyst loading, high product yield (up to 92%), and excellent reusability of the catalyst (up to 7 cycles) put this protocol under the umbrella of green chemistry tenets. Characterization of catalysts was achieved through a number of techniques viz., energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra of adsorbed pyridine, temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia, and porosity measurements by nitrogen adsorption (Brunauer–Emmett–Teller [BET] method). Also, the structures of synthesized compounds were corroborated on the basis of FTIR, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass, and elemental analyses data.  相似文献

Treatment through a combination of drugs involving cyclin D-dependent kinase inhibitors like abemaciclib and aromatase inhibitor like letrozole proved to be a potential therapeutic regimen and first-line treatment in estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer. In this study, we developed a simple and simultaneous RP-HPLC bioanalytical method for quantifying abemaciclib and letrozole in rat plasma. Abemaciclib and letrozole were separated on Zorbax Eclipse C18 column employing a gradient elution method comprising 10 mM ammonium acetate (pH 5) and acetonitrile as mobile phase. The method was found to have acceptable selectivity, accuracy (97.20–118.17%), precision (1.10–9.39%) and stability in the validation experiment performed as per the US Food and Drug Administration guidelines. The method sensitivity was low at a concentration level of 100 ng/ml. The applicability of the method has been verified through a single-dose oral pharmacokinetic study in rat. The developed method will be useful to quantitate the analytes in rat plasma samples of different preclinical studies including their pharmacokinetic drug–drug interactions in the future. To date, no method has been reported for the quantification of abemaciclib and letrozole simultaneously in any type of biological matrices. Therefore, this study makes a definite significant contribution in the field of bioanalytical research.  相似文献

Graphene oxide (GO) supported transition metal complexes are apprised as sturdy and everlasting heterogeneous catalysts. GO surface was functionalized with 3-triethoxysilylpropylamine (TSPA) and this amino functionalized GO (A-f-GO) nanocomposite with vanadyl Schiff base complex (VO-f-GO) was prepared and to give credence of its potentiality, it was chosen for the selective epoxidation of styrene using environmentally benign 30% H2O2 to styrene oxide (SO). To evade the detrimental exposure of “inborn” water, a selective high boiling and potent hygroscopic solvent, ethylene glycol was chosen to make this transformation productively successful. With the assistance of theoretical studies, we have probed the effect of H2O2 on to structural properties, binding mechanism and electronic properties of the catalyst and substrate. Adsorption energy (Ead), energy band gap (Eg) and HOMO-LUMO were also calculated. Based on DFT calculations, resonance Raman and UV/Vis studies, we confirmed the formation of metal-peroxo species and propose the plausible catalytic pathway. The influence of the diverse experimental parameters, like substrate to oxidant mole ratio, catalyst concentration, type of solvents, solvent amount, time, temperature and oxidant were tested. A clear relationship was found between different reaction parameters like solvent amount, oxidant, catalyst concentration and temperature etc. and product distribution. This heterogeneous catalyst yielded styrene oxide as nearly the sole product (selectivity = 98.7%) with a conversion value of 99.2% in the oxidation of styrene with hydrogen peroxide in ethylene glycol.  相似文献

Anhydrous silicophosphoric acid glass with an approximate composition of H5Si2P9O29 was synthesized and its thermal and proton-conducting properties were characterized. Despite exhibiting a glass transition at 192 °C, the supercooled liquid could be handled as a solid up to 280 °C owing to its high viscosity. The glass and its melt exhibited proton conduction with a proton transport number of ∼1. Although covalent O−H bonds were weakened by relatively strong hydrogen bonding, the proton conductivity (4×10−4 S cm−1 at 276 °C) was considerably lower than that of phosphoric acid. The high viscosity of the melt was due to the tight cross-linking of phosphate ion chains by six-fold-coordinated Si atoms. The low proton conductivity was attributed to the trapping of positively charged proton carriers around anionic SiO6 units (expressed as (SiO6/2)2−) to compensate for the negative charges.  相似文献
